LGITSA has a key goal to provide Information Technology and Information Management professionals with a united voice across the sector. Cyber security is a priority for our members and a strategic initiative was identified in the LGITSA Strategy 2020-2022, to engage with relevant authorities and stakeholders to share resources and materials and establish practices to increase cyber maturity and resilience across the sector.
The LGITSA cyber security strategy has subsequently been developed with the input of LGITSA members and sector-wide consultation. This strategy gives an overview of Local Government business drivers, strategic priorities and cyber security initiatives for the purposes of identifying potential collaboration partners, funding and resourcing opportunities.
