Join Us!
Membership is open to all Local Government professionals, whose primary role is focussed on Information Technology or Information Management. Subscriptions for membership are registered and paid as a one off fee by Councils, and then free for all professionals from that Council to join. View some of the benefits below and the member value proposition here.
The LGITSA community conversations are now happening on Yammer. If you have a Council email address, you can jump on over to register and join the conversation. Once we receive the details and your registration is approved you’ll have full access to the Yammer site, resources and forums.

LGITSA Yammer Network
LGITSA maintains a Yammer network to enable members to network, engage and collaborate on topics of interest. Anyone with a member Council email address is able to join.
The benefits of the Yammer platform include:
- Threaded discussions grouped by topic
- The ability for members to opt-in and out of topics
- Sharing of documents, presentations, images and videos
- A searchable archive of discussion and files
The network has groups for IT and IM, as well as special interest topics such as GIS, Business Intelligence, Digital Transformation and ePlanning.
