Nominations for the 2025 LGITSA Achievement Awards are now open!
The LGITSA Achievement Awards are a platform to recognise, celebrate, and elevate the remarkable achievements of individuals and teams in the Information Technology (IT) and Information Management (IM) fields within local governments in South Australia.
To commemorate 10-years of LGITSA as part of our National Conference, we are inviting councils from outside of South Australia to join us in commemorating ideas, initiatives and innovations that have exemplified excellence, creativity, and leadership.
For the first time, we have introduced two new awards that will be available EXCLUSIVELY to interstate (non-SA) councils:
Epic Impact Award: Throwing the spotlight on projects that have scaled up, set new benchmarks, or made lasting change in how the organisation serves, engages, or evolves.
Future Focused Award: Highlighting councils that have paved the way through digital transformation, community co-design, or long-term strategy, and shaped how their council will thrive in the years ahead.
Judged by an external panel, winners will be presented at our Gala Awards Dinner on Thursday 25th of September, as part of our National Conference.
This year we have a total of 9 Award Categories, rewarding innovation, influence, inspiration and lasting value, while also commending heart, context and creativity shown by local government professionals in IT and IM.
How to Apply
Submitting a nomination is simple. The nominations process is designed to focus on the countless individuals and teams that have demonstrated a commitment to showing what’s possible and paving the way in how local government professionals can benefit their team, council, or community.
This is your chance to put teams or individuals that have exemplified excellence into the spotlight!
All entries for LGITSA Achievement Awards must be submitted online via the awards platform below by 11:59pm Sunday 3rd August.
